OPEN WATER COURSE

INTRO: Discover the unparalleled freedom of the Open Water Course (OWC). This 4-day certification program allows you to explore the depths of the ocean, up to 18mtrs with a trusted companion. As a prerequisite, candidates must be in good health and comfortable swimming and floating in deep waters. The course is divided into three modules - academic sessions, confined water training, and open water diving sessions. With the option to complete the academic portion at home, you can maximize your time and fully immerse yourself during the remaining sessions at breathtaking dive locations. MODULE 1: Academic Session: The academic session is the foundation of scuba diving training. This exclusive session immerses aspiring divers in topics ranging from dive theory to equipment usage, safety procedures, and underwater navigation. Instructors provide in-depth knowledge, ensuring divers are well-prepared before taking their skills to the water. Discover the science and principles behind scuba diving, elevating your experience beneath the waves with safety and sophistication.

MODULE 2: Confined Water Training: The candidate will participate in a confined water training session where they will acquire problem-solving skills, learn how to use equipment, and practice emergency procedures. This will involve brief mini dives to prepare for open water dives.

MODULE 3: Open Water Dives: Explore the depths of the ocean with our thrilling open water scuba diving session. Under the guidance of certified instructors, you will apply your learned skills and knowledge in a real underwater setting. Master buoyancy control, safety procedures, and communication techniques as you embark on an unforgettable journey through the vibrant underwater world. This is where theory meets practice, and where you will create memories that will stay with you forever.

NOTE: - Certifications will be granted at the discretion of the certifying instructor. Although extremely rare, If the instructor believes a certain candidate fails to complete the necessary requirements as defined by diving agency, he/she can choose to deny certification as a measure of safety and well-being.

🐠 Open Water Diver Course – Inclusions & Exclusions

✅ Inclusions:

 1. Professional Dive Instructor
 • Certified and experienced instructor for theoretical and practical training sessions.
 2. Academic Training
 • Digital/manual course material
 • Knowledge development sessions (classroom or online)
 3. Confined Water Dives
 • Pool sessions to learn basic scuba skills in a safe, controlled environment.
 4. Open Water Dives
 • 4 Open Water Dives at actual dive sites under instructor supervision.
 5. Scuba Equipment Rental
 • Complete scuba gear: BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, weights, tank, etc.
 6. Certification Fees
 • Internationally recognized Open Water Diver certification upon successful completion.
 7. Dive Log Book
 • To record your underwater experiences and progress.
 8. Boat Transfers (if applicable)
 • Transfers to and from the dive sites when done via dive boat.
 9. Drinking Water / Light Snacks
 • Provided during diving days (varies by dive center/location).
 10. Photographs/Videos (Subject to availability)
  • Some centers may include complimentary underwater photos or videos.

❌ Exclusions:

1. Travel & Accommodation
 • Flights, hotels, or transport to the dive center are not included.
 2. Meals
 • Lunch and dinner unless otherwise mentioned.
 3. Personal Expenses
 • Tips, souvenirs, or personal shopping.
 4. Medical Clearance / Fitness Certificate
 • A doctor’s clearance may be required before diving.
 5. Insurance
 • Dive insurance and travel insurance are not included (recommended to purchase separately).
 6. Extra Dives / Fun Dives
 •  Any dives beyond the 4 included open water dives.
 7. Reattempt Fees
 • If the candidate fails theory or practical and needs to retake sessions, additional charges      may apply.
 8. Transport to Pool/Training Site (if separate)
 • Unless clearly specified, local transport is not included.

📝 Important Notes:

 • Participants must be 10 years or older (for Junior Open Water Diver).
 • Must be in good health and able to swim.
 • A swim test and medical questionnaire are required before participation.
 • Dive centers may have different policies for rescheduling, cancellations, or weather disruptions.
