Do I need to know swimming to try scuba diving?
No! For introductory dives (Discover Scuba Diving), swimming is not mandatory. However, for certification courses like Open Water Diver & further courses, basic swimming skills (200m swim & 10-minute float) are required.
What scuba diving courses does VCD offer?
VCD offers globally recognized SSI & PADI scuba diving courses including Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Specialty Courses like Night Diving, Deep Diving, and Photography.
Where can I take scuba diving courses in India with VCD?
Our primary training locations are Andaman Islands (Havelock & Neil), and Lakshadweep, moreover we offer scuba diving in Maldives and other international destinations as well.
What is included in a scuba diving course package?

Is scuba diving safe for beginners?
Yes, absolutely! All dives are conducted under professional instructors, with certified safety equipment and medical support.

What is Liveaboard Diving?
Liveaboard diving is staying on a dive vessel for multiple days typically 7-10 days, exploring remote dive sites and enjoying unlimited dives, meals, and accommodation onboard.
Which Liveaboard destinations does VCD offer?
VCD offers liveaboard trips in Maldives, Red Sea (Egypt), Galápagos Islands, Philippines, and Indonesia.
Do I need certification for liveaboard diving?
Yes, a minimum Open Water Diver certification is required. For advanced destinations (deep dives, drift dives), Advanced Open Water certification is recommended with atleast 20-30 dives under belt.
How many dives are included in a liveaboard trip?
On average, 3–4 dives per day, depending on location, weather, and certification level.
Are liveaboards beginner-friendly?
Yes, but it’s recommended to gain some diving experience first. Beginners can opt for Maldives liveaboards, which are suitable for all levels.
